4. Daniel Boone Home & Boonesfield Village

Probably the most historic site in Missouri. Not only is Daniel Boone's Home located there, but also his brother Squire Boone's Home, the Zephaniah Sappington/John Dressel Home, the Flanders Callaway/Jemima Boone Home, the Newton Howell Home, Peace Chapel and many other historic buildings. Special events are held during the year with historic interpreters on hand to answer questions. Daniel Boone & John Filson usually make appearances at every special event. The 1800's Christmas Candlelight Tour is truely a not to be missed event.
