   EDITOR REVIEW:

Housed in the "Fine Arts Palace" of the famous 1904 World's Fair, this art museum regales visitors with an outstanding collection of Impressionist paintings, Asian works, Renaissance pieces, and American art. There are also rotating and special displays throughout the year. Located in Forest Park.

Housed in the only remaining structure of the famed 1904 World's Fair, this museum boasts collections of art of exceptional quality from virtually every culture and time period, including Oceanic art, pre-Columbian art, ancient Chinese bronzes, and European and American art of the late 19th and 20th centuries. Its particular strength is 20th-century German art. Best of all, it's free to the public year around. (from Southern Living)
