The City Museum features Art City, where visitors can paint, weave, and see demonstrations by glassblowers, wood-carvers, and other artists. DOWNTOWN. An eclectic collection of art, science, and history, the City Museum makes for a fun and educational stop. Upon arrival, interesting gardens, unique sculptures, and sea serpent fence on the exterior of the building beckon you inside to experience a fantastical environment featuring bright colors, mirrors, and dinosaur stairs. There is even a ten-story spiral slide inside! Exhibits include a 35,000-gallon aquarium, a glass studio, an architecture museum, art crafted from recycled materials, and the "Mechanical Wonder World." (© 10Best) At this ingenious space, a two-story warehouse filled with interactive art, the staff of City Museum salvages everything from bottle caps to fire engines. The result is a giant playground for the mind where kids climb inside supersize springs made from airplane parts and bounce on a giant fuel bladder filled with water. Now, that's art you can use.
