1. St. Louis Storytelling Festival

The Buzz -- Sponsored by the University of Missouri-St Louis, this wonderful festival gathers storytellers from all over the country to perform at various venues throughout the city. Master storytellers spin classic tales, ghost stories, oral histories, and poems. Themes include folk tales, ethnic and ancient traditions, humorous tomes, nature, and stories told in sign language. Locations include libraries, parks, recreation centers, and even the Missouri Botanical Garden.
