9. The Loop

Affectionately known as "The Loop," this six-block shopping, dining and nightlife area is located next to Washington University. Approximately 140 shops are located within The Loop's vicinity. Vendors include those offering books, wine, clothing, art, housewares and furniture. Area favorites include Rag-o-rama, Runway Fashions and more.
