Café Eau features a casual, relaxed atmosphere with dark woodwork and neutral tones. The eclectic American menu features such fare as Thai-basil tuna tartare with chili-lime dressing. Styled in rich Moroccan tones, Eau Bistro features a paprika-colored pressed metal ceiling and light fixtures created with parchment paper. This menu leans heavily toward seafood and may include Sushiko wood-roasted Chilean sea bass on peppery mustard greens with tamari-citrus vinaigrette. The eclectic Sunday brunch at Eau Bistro is quite popular. Reservations are recommended.

This elegant, old world-style restaurant features dark woods, a fountain, and a comfortable ambience. Risotto makes as fine an appetizer as it does an entree. Start with the creamy seafood risotto made with salmon, shrimp, and scallops. Follow with the Veal Nunzio, medallions sautéed with cheese and topped with lump crabmeat and a lemon butter sauce.

DOWNTOWN. This popular steak house is a favorite spot after ball games and for family dinners and business occasions. The menu is typically American and features chicken noodle soup, savory spinach salad, escargot, flavorful bruschetta, steamed salmon, and plenty of steaks. The Missouri Beef Council has named Mike Shannon's the top beef restaurant in the St. Louis metropolitan area. DOWNTOWN. Owned and operated by former NFL greats Dan Dierdorf and Jim Hart of the old St. Louis Cardinals football team, this classic restaurant features elegant yet casual surroundings and recalls New York-style steak houses from the early decades of the century. Start with escargot in garlic butter or oysters on the half-shell. For a main course, choose your favorite cut of steak or seafood, or select lamb, pork, or veal chops from a silver tray and enjoy the cooked-to-perfection meal.
