8. Mt. Soufriere Drive-in Volcano

SOUFRIÈRE.   You will smell one of St. Lucia's most famous attractions before you actually see it. Billed as "the world's only drive-in volcano," Mt Soufrière is still technically an active volcano. However it is classified as a "solfatara," meaning it emits gases rather than ash and lava. You can drive your car right up to the ancient crater, then walk among seething sulphur pools of green and yellow. Your admission price includes an enjoyable half-hour tour.   (© 10Best)
