3. Fregate Island

Along St. Lucia's eastern coast lie the rocky Fregate Islands. Walk along the preserve's nature trail and you will see nesting fregate birds, sea caves, a mangrove swamp and, during the rainy season, a waterfall. Carib Lookout on the island boasts the remains of Amerindian pottery. This area is one of the best for seeing St. Lucia's natural ecosystem.   (© 10Best)
