CAP ESTATE.   Experience pampered plantation life at this restaurant built on the foundation of the original Cap Estate house. The waitstaff is clothed in traditional St. Lucien costume and their attentive service will make you feel like the lord of the manor. Caribbean-influenced French fare is served here. Favorite appetizers include pumpkin and potato soup and local crab back seasoned with chives and served in vinaigrette. Main courses vary nightly but some of the best are the seafood casserole with coconut milk and broiled sirloin with thyme-butter and sweet potato chips. The must-have dessert is the coconut cheesecake with fresh fruit topping. Plan to arrive early and enjoy a cocktail while you watch the sunset from the open-air bar. Resort casual attire.
