GROS ISLET.   Gentle trade winds blowing in off Rodney Bay keep this open-air restaurant cool and comfortable. Though they offer impeccably fresh local seafood and lobster, the real reason to visit The Charthouse is beef. The U.S. Prime steaks are charbroiled to order, and the roast prime rib helped this chain to establish its international reputation. An excellent selection of wines is available to complement your meal. Afterwards, enjoy a Cuban cigar and a cocktail at the beautiful mahogany bar. Smart-casual to business-dressy attire. The food was ok, but not worth the price, the service was marginal. The really awful part was that my husband and I were charged $263 too much on our credit card. The restaurant was less than helpful in helping us straighten out the discrepency. Would not recommend.
