1. Como Park Conservatory

This splendid St. Paul conservatory is one of the few remaining in the US, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. More than 250 plants from six continents are housed in six public areas, each dedicated to a specific theme. Visit the Palm Dome with its enormous trees filled with bananas and coconuts. The lawns and gardens surrounding the conservatory are as well tended as the plantings on the inside.   (© 10Best)
