3. Fitzgerald Theater

DOWNTOWN.   This St. Paul theater was originally opened as the Schubert Theater, but was renovated and renamed in 1994 for St. Paul's literary hero, F. Scott Fitzgerald. Its primary tenant now is Lake Wobegon’s Garrison Keillor when he's not on the road. The building is handsome and comfortable with good acoustics and sight lines.
