9. Treasure Island

TREASURE ISLAND.   Treasure Island actually offers several beaches, but the neighborhood itself is a good prospect for shoreline fun during the day and nightlife fun later on. The island is a particular favorite of kite-fliers, who capitalize on Gulf winds to build their skills and show off a range of diverse kites. Sunset Beach, Treasure Island Beach Access Park, and St. Petersburg Municipal Beach are among the venues you can frequent in the area.   (© 10Best)
