3. Pinellas Trail

Linking northern and southern Pinellas County, this popular trail follows an unused railroad corridor, incorporating its right-of-way into the 47-mile-long thoroughfare. Used by hundreds of thousands of people each year, the trail invites joggers, bikers, and skaters but not motorized vehicles or horses. It also passes through an assortment of landscapes and communities and has comfort facilities along its route.
