ST. PETE BEACH.   Known for its hospitality and many capable menu items, Skidder's has earned a familiar place as a neighborhood institution. The family-run business offers hearty portions of food that's influenced by Greek and Italian traditions. Lobster, steak, and fish dishes take care of those with elaborate dining needs, and sandwiches and burgers satisfy smaller lunchtime appetites. Breakfast brings on a slew of traditional fare (egg dishes, pancakes, waffles), and the accommodating staff is a welcome throwback to past days. At busy times, anticipate a wait.   (© 10Best)

No big deal
I wasn't impressed, it looks like the 2 times I went (I gave it a second chance) The back door is open, and I worry about bugs. The staff hanging outside in the back makes the place lose its class. The food was decent, but nothing to brag about. The wait staff was very nice. I had some "brown lettuce" which is always a disappointment. It was a 2 time experience for me only....no more....There are several other great places on or near St Pete Beach...The Hut, Jimmy B's and Frog Pond BY FAR!! Shope around, prepare to expect something special at Skidders, and you will get mediocracy. Donna and Richard, visiting from Vermont every year for a month!

Fake maple syrup, dry french toast, the most inexspensive ingredients possible. Friendly staff, Denny's quality diner food, NOT a gormet high quality breakfast by any stretch. Biscuits and Gravy very bland (microwaved biscuits).
