Worst of the worst
My wife and I were VERY hungry after being on the beach all day and almost anything would have satisfied us, but this has to be the worst crap ever served on a plate. Honestly it was horrible and we had to pay for it. We had to go to another restaurant and pay again to get a decent meal. My rating......minus 10

We love Crabby Bills! Our timeshare is in St. Pete and each time we are there we eat at Crabby Bill's at least one time and most of the time twice during that we. It is one of my Fiancee's fave places!

Worst restaurant I have EVER ate at in my life. We had a 35 minute wait on a Wednesday night... After we were seated, we had to wait another 15 minutes for our server to show up to take our drink order. We ordered our dinners after that and the food took 30 minutes longer. To eat dinner was over 1 1/2 hours... Food portions were small and the food was cold when it arrived. I would not recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy! This place should be called CRAPPY BILLS!

I ordered scallops and raw oysters; my girlfriend ordered baked stuffed founder. I also got a beer which was served in a plastic cup. That is nice on the back porch or at frat party, but not really what I expected from a restaurant. Once our order was taken, we did not see the waitress for a while. Another table was seated near us after our order was placed. Their food came out before ours...and my oyster order never showed up! When the food did finally reach our table, it was awful. My scallops were bland, the green beans were out of a can, and the coleslaw was mass produced. My girlfriends flounder was covered in cayenne pepper which was almost unpalatable and the "crab stuffing" was Stove Top - we never found any crab. I cannot understand how anyone could possibly consider this seafood restaurant anything better than going to McDonalds for a fish sandwich. There was a kid who came to our table and took our picture. He said it was what they did at the restaurant. Here it was a ploy to push merchandise on us. He wanted us to buy some cheap trinkets with the picture he took of us. To top it all off, the waitress gave me a bill for over $75 dollars. Luckily I checked it and found she gave me the wrong one. The place just sucked.

We love going to Crabby Bill's. Often he is there! It is one of the first places we eat at on vacation. I finally convinced my dad to go to Florida with us for the soft shell crab at Crabby Bill's. He loved it. We just keep going back each year, We tell our friends about this really awesome place on the beach! We have yet to get negative feedback. Thanks Deb in Ohio for telling me about this great place to eat.

I just left the St. Pete Crabby Bills (Sunday, August 5, 2007 10:45 PM) and I will never enter one of thier establishments again. We were told that we would have an hour wait to sit out side and I was okay with that. My family and I were seated an hour and ten minutes after putting our names on the chalk board. The delay was most likely caused by the upstairs wait staff allowing one party to expand by taking chairs from an adjacent table. After we were finally seated, we immediatly placed our order and waited an additional forty five minutes for our food to arrive. So, at 9:45 PM our food arrived and it was luke warm at best. Which tells me that it had been ready for some time, the wait staff just didn't go get it. To top things off, the party that was seated behind us, (the one that was allowed by the wait staff to expand and cause delays for other parties that wanted to be seated), was using profanity about every other word and I finally got fed up with it and asked them to please stop using profanity since I had my two young children with me. They moved to the bar but the part that really irritates me is that another party came by and thanked me for standing up to these loudmouths because they (this other family) had asked the wait staff to ask the loudmouths to stop using the profanity but the wait staff did nothing. So, after two hours and forty five minutes, I have had enough Crabby Bills for a lifetime. I highly recommend that you try Sea Critter's on the other end of the island. The food was good, the service was great and my children were allowed to feed the catfish off the pier. And no, I am not a local with gudge against Crabby Bills. I live in El Paso, Texas and was visiting St. Pete beach on vacation with my family.
