GREATER CHARLOTTE AMALIE.   St. Thomas residents Philibert Fluck and Barbara Demaras open their historic private home to the public. The Seven Arches is named for the arches supporting the "welcoming arms" staircase made of native mahogany. The home has been completely restored and decorated with period antiques. The slave quarters and the traditional, separated kitchen are highlights, as is the complimentary tropical drink in the garden.   (© 10Best)

This was a hidden treasure in St. Thomas - a must see for anyone who would rather see authentic history instead of tourist traps. Loved it.
