4. Craig & Sally's

Craig and Sally's was an unforgettable experience. My wife and I are pretty spoiled when it comes to food. I am an excellent chef (by hobby, not profession) as is she. We like all varieties of food and have eaten at the best restaurant wherever our travels take us. Comparing the islands to the U.S. never quite works. There are innovative dishes on the islands to be sure, and the fresh seafood cannot be beat, but typically the efforts of the finest chefs at the most expensive restaurants, sorry to say, do not compare to the American equivalent. Craig and Sally's stood out, however, as one of the finest meals we've had ANYWHERE. Every bite of every dish was a delight. What a find. Since we like to travel, and work prevents us taking more than one vacation per year most of the time, we pick a different location every year (sometimes with some regret, as we have our favorites). We would go back to St. Thomas JUST BECAUSE we want another meal at Craig and Sally's.
