GREATER CHARLOTTE AMALIE. Dine with Gladys for a taste of the Caribbean in a quaint and cozy atmosphere. The café is housed in an old stone building erected as a pump house back in the 1700s. You can still see the well in the central courtyard. Lunches include fresh seafood, crispy green salads and the house specialty, hot chicken salad. Pieces of sautéed chicken breast are mixed with vinegar, pine nuts and fresh dill and served on a bed of lettuce. Be sure to take home a bottle of Gladys's own hot sauce.
