5. Stamford Museum and Nature Center

Over 115 acres of stunning woodlands are part of this natural complex. The Stamford Museum and Nature Center includes trails, picnic areas, and a working farm. The center also features a Tudor revival stone château as an exhibition center, as well as an observatory and planetarium. Exhibits include Americana displays such as railways and teddy bears, plus a series of Native American artifacts. I went to a their amazing Haunted House in October it was truly among the best i ever attended. I have since then become a member at the museum and enjoy all the other events that they host during the year. A real gem of a place for children and adults alike
