This is classic home-style cuisine served up in cozy and traditional tavern décor. The Long Ridge is a local favorite. The menu features entrées like broiled trout, smoked salmon, steaks, crab cakes, pizzas, and pasta. A great place for a relaxed drink after work. The décor is charming and the ambience casual.

The atmosphere and the outside seating is very nice, but nothing about the food or wine is right....change the chef and get some good wine and this place could be a local gold mine!

We are regular guests and have never been disappointed. Have not eaten anything I have not enjoyed. Menue has nice selection, several items on the menue are a pleasant differentiation from the usual mainstream food at comparable restaurants/diners, specials are always good. Service and ambiance are great, very kids friendly.

NE Clam Chowder: No clams; NO TASTE! Carmelized scallops w/ reduction of red pepper in potato nest: quick pan sear on top of mashed potatoes with 4 homemade chips and something red drizzled over top not tasting like anything in particular. Oh beat up broc/carrot medley on top of chips. Blah! "Double chocolate bread pudding" had NO chocolate but waiter thought we wouldn't notice. Cars in lot must just be for casino shuttle bus or something! What a rip!
