10. Yampa River Botanic Park

Amateur horticulturalists and flower lovers will definitely want to add the Yampa River Botanic Park to their itinerary. Spread across six acres, the park features about 30 individual themed gardens, some of more general interest and some that will appeal particularly to gardeners who live in arid or mountainous regions. Be sure to check out the Hummingbird Garden, which attracts the little winged wonders all summer long, and the Children's Garden, which includes an amphitheater for performances and programs.
