6. Howler Alpine Slide

Hop on a wheeled sled and fly down Howelsen Hill! But first things first. First you have to take the chairlift to the top of the hill. Admire the views, and shake off any nagging fears as this is one of the most exciting and rewarding summer activities in Steamboat. You control the sled as it shoots down a 2400-foot track, curving and winding down the side of the hill at top speed. The ride is truly exhilarating – don't miss it!   (© 10Best)
