Winter is the most obvious time to enjoy Steamboat's ski resort. Besides excellent skiing and snowboarding, the resort offers snowshoeing, tubing and even snowmobiling. The so-called "champagne powder" snow gives winter sports an extra edge here, and the resort has die-hard fans from all over the world. But summer can be just as exciting here. Along with hiking, camping and fishing, you spend the day at the Gondola Square Adventure Zone which offers disc golf, a climbing wall, mini golf, Slingshot Trampoline Bungee Jump and many other thrilling activities.
