You'll be amused by the over-the-top western décor here: boot-shaped glasses, barrel booths, and antlers everywhere. But while the décor and ambiance may be casual, the food is equal to any fine dining establishment in town. If you've never ventured to try elk or buffalo, this is the perfect place to start. Of course, steaks are top-notch and grilled to your specifications, and lobster, shrimp and fish are succulent and expertly prepared as well. Maybe we were there on a bad night, but service was very slow. All entrées arrived cold to tolerably warm. When sent back to reheat , my son enjoyed his elk loin. And I believe I would have really liked the pasta if it had been served hot. Biscuits were also served cold at the beginning of the meal. My daughter ordered a baked potato, but was brought fries.
