Capitalizing on its riverside location, this upscale restaurant features floor-to-ceiling windows giving guests full-on views of the Yampa and Howelsen Hill. Savor a plate of mussels steamed in white wine, garlic herb butter and lemon while watching the action on the lighted ski slope, then delight in Rocky Mountain trout almondine or hazelnut-crusted salmon on spinach with caper-butter sauce. Lamb Wellington and Wiener schnitzel are also enjoyable. The menu is a bit more casual at lunchtime, but still a cut above – try the grilled salmon with mixed greens, caramelized onion and horseradish sauce on ciabatta bread.
