3. LC Swansea

Opened in March 2008, the state-of-the-art LC replaces the former leisure centre on the same site. It now offers residents and visitors a 21st-cenury waterpark with loads of fun attractions for families of all ages. The centre is divided into three zones - Core, Edge and Peak. Facilities include a four-storey, aquatic themed, interactive play area; a 30ft climbing wall; fitness centre and luxurious spa. In the 'Edge' zone is Wales' biggest indoor water park, with a network of pools, rides and slides, including the Master Blaster and the standing BoardRider. If you need to replace that energy, there are two cafes and a poolside bistro.   (© 10Best)
