This is one of Swansea's smallest, oldest, and favorite parks. Recognised by CADW as a grade-II listed park, the beautiful grounds contain a lake that dates to the 1860s, which was one of the first reservoirs in town. Numerous recreational opportunities are available, including bowling, fishing, and a playground for children, helped by a recent grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. A wide variety of flora and fauna can also be enjoyed in this area as well. The park's latest and biggest attraction is the Discovery Centre, opened in 2008 in order to help visitors explore the park's history and wildlife. As well as a permanent exhibition about the park, visitors can watch birds in their natural habitat without disturbing them, with the help of a one-way glass window.   (© 10Best)
