The rustic decor at this immensely popular restaurant features potted palm trees, iron candleholders, and Elizabethan-style tables and chairs. Downstairs, the wine bar offers a wide array of vintages and is a lovely place for a casual lunch. There is also a coffee shop for a casual snack during the day. Business casual attire. Reservations recommended.

I must admit that I was rather dubious about returning to Eleo's after not frequenting it in over 2 years. However, I must eat humble pie and happily admit that after my recent visits I can now say that this is without doubt one of the best restaurants in Swansea, if not the best restaurant in Swansea. The quality, variety and presentation of food is second to none. The ambiance is wonderful and the service is excellent. Since the change of ownership last year the restaurant has done away with the old fashioned system where you had to queue to choose your food from a display (akin to being in a supermarket!) and introduced an interersting and varied menu so you can just sit back, relax and enjoy the food and fine wine. And last, but not least, is their new basement bar which is very modern and stylish, yet cosy, and the perfect place to congregate either before or after dinner.
