4. Featherdale Wildlife Park

DOONSIDE.   Venture into this park's natural bushland setting, where you'll find Australia's largest private area of native animals. It's also one of the few places where visitors are allowed to pet and feed kangaroos, emus, and koalas. You can plan to have lunch at the cafe, or bring your own picnic. Featherdale Wildlife Park was by far the best place around Sydney to get face to face with the animals, and by far the best spot for meeting the wildlife in Australia!
