7. Palm Beach

Palm Beach's beauty attracts a the rich, beautiful, and famous. Some of Sydney's wealthiest families live in the area, and the Aussie soap opera "Home and Away" is filmed here as well. Palm is also considered Sydney's northernmost beach and is generally quiet and calm. The waters are great for both swimming and surfing, and just a short walk away, you'll find Borronjoey lighthouse.
