7. Lansdowne Hotel

DARLINGTON.   The Lansdowne is an iconic venue known for showcasing live music from all around Australia. It's frequented primarily by university students and people from the local arts and gay communities. Upstairs, there's a bistro serving reasonably priced pub food including steaks, fish and chips and prawns. Throughout the week, you'll find events to suit all, with live music on Thursdays-Sundays. While downstairs at the Landsdowne is your average Sydney Pub, up-stairs on Friday Night there is a Free DJ Event called Wax on. The music is a great blend of Breaks and Hip Hop the people who come along seem very friendly and there was no major issues that normally arise with the consumption of alcohol. That was until the manager started causing problems with (us) for no apparent reason...managed to ruin my night.
