6. Poolside Café

THE DOMAIN.   On the edge of the Royal Botanic Gardens and suspended above Woolloomooloo Bay, the Boy Charlton Pool is a magnificent sight. The café terrace is a great place to wile away a few hours discovering the all-day breakfast menu, or refuel between visiting Mrs Macquarie's Chair and the Art Gallery. See those Sydneysiders power-swim through their lunch breaks (or run during the winter, the pool is closed for about three months a year though the café remains open) TRAIN to St. James, WALK through Hyde Park and follow signs along Mrs Macquaries Road.   (© 10Best)
