Run by a team of five brothers, El Phonecian is a huge 300-seat Modern Lebanese seafood restaurant, appealing to and far beyond the large Sydney Lebanese population. The platters (minimum 2 people) and banquets (minimum 4 people) feature delicacies such as tabouli, salt and pepper squid, king garlic prawns and kafta. Vegetarians and those after meat dishes are well catered for here. Clientele include the local Lebanese community, but the majority are corporate workers in the area and a mix of locals and those from further a field who are out for a great feed. Traditional male and female belly dancers perform on Friday and Saturday nights. TRAIN from Town Hall to Harris Park on Western line (32 Minutes).   (© 10Best)
