EASTERN SUBURBS.   Doyles on the Beach has been serving up great fish and chips since 1885! This family-run restaurant is located on Watson's Bay and has a great view of the water. The setting is homey and welcoming, and the clientele includes couples, tourists, and families. Although prices for fish and chips are higher-end, you'll find the food well worth the cost. I had a marvelous meal of mud-crab and chips last year and I have to say it was one of the finest meals I ate in oz. Only one meal was finer on my travels and that was in nz. 2 thumbs up for the famous Doyles on Watson's bay.
