DOWNTOWN.   'This hands-on science museum is one of Syracuse's premier attractions. Five levels house numerous fun educational experiences teaching about topics as diverse as light and sound, rocks and minerals and cells and bacteria. Try your hand at the climbing wall, which is also a maze, or walk into the giant heart or colossal brain and unlock the secrets of life within. When you need a break, head to the café for a soda and a sandwich, and be sure to visit the science store before you leave.
