CAMILLUS. This 300-acre park is located at the midpoint of the Erie Canal as it travels between Albany and Buffalo. Seven miles of trails travel alongside the canal and are popular for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding in the summer, and snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter. Sim's Store Museum—a replica of an actual canal-side store—is located in the center of the park. There is a museum shop that sells souvenirs.
