DOWNTOWN.   With an old armory building as an anchor, Syracuse's renovated downtown is filled with hopping bars, lively restaurants and numerous unique boutiques and gift shops. Head downtown and wander along Franklin, West Fayette and Walton Streets and you will see college students drinking coffee, grandmas shopping for their grandkids and young families walking to the Museum of Science and Technology.
