4. MS Dixie II

ZEPHYR COVE.   Enjoy Lake Tahoe in the style of yesteryear but with modern conveniences on this three-deck paddlewheeler. Since 1994, she's been plying the waters and introducing visitors to the splendor of the region. Replacing the original MS Dixie, which had been tooling around the lake since 1949, this vessel can hold 570 passengers and features sightseeing, dining, and entertainment. A glass-bottom section on the lower deck invites folks to see what's going on below the surface, and a video called "Sunken Treasures of Lake Tahoe" delves even more deeply into the matter.
