5. Village Oktoberfest

The Buzz -- Like similar events all across the nation, Squaw Valley's version of Oktoberfest is a celebration of hearty beer, filling food, and traditional Bavarian music. The one-day event features a 20-piece band, dancers, premium imported and domestic brews, games, and lots of bratwurst. Admission is free, but tickets to buy alcohol must be purchased.
