5. LeMoyne Art Foundation

LeMoyne Center for the Visual Arts is an amazing resource in Tallahassee and the surrounding area. Not only does it offer 9-10 fine art exhibits in its main gallery each year, but it has a large campus which includes two historic homes which are listed on the National Historic Register. It also has a beautiful sculpture garden with fountains and a lovely gazebo which serves as a serene spot for a visit or a lovely location for an outdoor event. In addition, LeMoyne offers an exemplary art education program which is housed on its campus and provides a large selection of hands on art classes taught by professional artists as well as a summer camp program. The gift shop is stocked with many hand made art pieces by local artists, books by local authors and much more. It's a great place to visit. There's always something new going on at LeMoyne.
