This Tallahassee attraction was an ancient political and religious ceremonial center for Apalachee Indians centuries ago. The Apalachees constructed earth mounds which later became a part of Colonel Robert Butler’s plantation near Tallahassee. Sightseeing here is great on a nature trail walk, picnic in the grass, or climb up to a mound's top.
