1. Calhoun Street Historic District

16 historic buildings and homes can be found in the 1830s “North Addition” to the City of Tallahassee. Attractions abound, from antebellum homes to the old oaks laden with Spanish moss that line the street, providing a unique characteristic to Tallahassee sightseeing. Only one house, the Brokaw-McDougall, is open to the public, but the detailed architecture here is reason enough to plan a full day for these sights in Tallahassee.   (© 10Best)
