1. Andrew's Capital Grill & Bar

Andrews has some things going for it. First, it is a great place to have a drink with friends after work. They have specials and its location downtown is highly convenient. There is outdoor seating that is most pleasant in the shoulder seasons. The downside about Andrews is the absolute lack of service. On separate occassions, I have waited over 30 minutes for my food. The servers are complacent at best and always seem rushed, even when there isn't a full house. Finally, the food quality is acceptable but not great. Nothing all that special about Andrews.

This is a fantastic restaurant. A perfect combination of casual and classy, the food is great, and the staff are competent and friendly. It's right in the center of downtown, so it's a great place to get a feel for the "real" Tallahassee.
