8. Lowry Park Zoo

Lowry Park is a very family friendly zoo. Most of the park is well shaded and it makes visiting in the summer enjoyable. They are expanding the zoo and we have really enjoyed the African animal area. Don't miss your chance to feed a Giraffe!!!! In the children's area you can get close enough to touch a kangaroo or play in the water play area.

We have an annual pass to this zoo because we think it is the best in Florida. The animals have enough space to roam and the children's park is wonderful! An excellent place for the whole family!
