8. Lithia Springs County Park

This is the place to go camping if you’re looking for a great spot. Very clean bathhouse facilities, isolated sites, precut wood available on site for the fire rings, electric and water available on the camp sites, scrub oaks and palmetto barriers lend privacy to each location and if you like armadillos you’ll be visited during your stay. A canoe rental outfit is located nearby for a run down the river that takes several hours. That is very relaxing. And of course the springs are nice in the summer to five you a good cool down. Bring your camera and lots of film!

A beautiful, lush, relaxing atmosphere where humans and nature can co-exist. The spring is gorgeous, crystal clear and very cold. Refreshing!
