7. Whiskey North

The absolute best nightclub in Tampa Bay, worth the drive from Pinellas. This is a very classy place with great music and an incredible light and sound system.

Whisky North has a 5-8pm happy hour on Fridays with a $10 cover for all you can drink. The drinks are watered down to the degree that if you mix it anything; you'll think you're drinking pure soda. Try getting a drink straight or on the rocks and you'll get a thimble full with a glass full of ice. The appetizers are OK and the music crosses a large enough spectrum that everyone will get in the groove at some point. Clientele are mostly 20s-40s and well behaved. Reasonable dress code but selectively enforced.
