WESTCHASE.   A fresh ocean breeze, live Island music, and delightful smells of Latin-Caribbean fusion cuisine are what patrons of this top Tampa restaurant have come to expect. From creative presentations to tropical flavors, Catch Twenty Three never ceases to impress. Representative dishes include Caribbean-style shrimp scampi, Certified Fresh yellow fin tuna, and Cuban-style baby back ribs. Be sure to save room for this Tampa restaurant’s signature desserts as well - coconut and key lime crème brulee. Dine outside and enjoy a sunset view, or socialize inside at the bar and lounge.   (© 10Best)

does not deserve to be top 10
I have no idea what these people are eating that this restaurant is getting such amazing ratings, but i can honestly say that Catch 23 is more generic than West Chase itself. I've had better seafood in Nebraska. If you want authentic Tampa seafood in Tampa, go to the colonnade on Bayshore or head out to the beaches in Pinellas county

Love this restaurant. We have been regulars since it opened. Great upscale casual atmosphere. The macadamia encrusted sea bass is incredible as is the tuna (try it sashimi style). The lobster bisque soup is terrific. I don't think I've ever gotten anything I didn't like. Can't speak for the desserts though because the food is so good I never have any room for dessert.

My wife and I ate here the other night. We were seated promptly. The service was very good throughout the meal. I had one of the house specialties, the sea bass, and my wife had the Chicken/Shrimp and Linguine. Both were excellently prepared and tasteful. My side of black beans was good, made a little spicy, which I liked. We split a Chocolate Mousse for afterwards. Will definitely go again.
