YBOR CITY.
Acropolis Greek Taverna is no typical Tampa café. A unique Greek revival spirit affords patrons of this Tampa Greek restaurant the feeling of being in Greece, and the same hearty spirit is mirrored in everything from the wall paintings to the cuisine. Menu items include traditional favorites like gyros, meatballs, and kabobs, as well as freshly prepared hummus spreads. Whipped feta and spinach tirosalata is also a big hit. Join the excitement that revolves around fine, affordable Greek cuisine - broken plates, hookahs, and weekend belly dancers. Opa!

DON'T GO THERE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. BRANDON LOCATION.
I went with my daughters to celebrate their good grades in school, I asked for a Margarita at the bar, the bartender didn't ask how I wanted it, started pouring the mix from a bottle on the ice in the glass, I advised her that I wanted it frozen, she threw it away and put ice in the blender, a shot, not kidding, just a shot of the mix and poured it in the same glass with half the salt by now, I paid $7.49 plus tip (didn’t deserve it) and went with my girls, they called us for a table, when I looked at the drink, it was with big chunks of ice, no alcohol and was so clear that the waitress didn't know it was a Margarita, I told her that they didn’t put alcohol on it that just put the mix from the bottle, she told me that they keep the mix with the alcohol in the plastic bottle, (??) there was no alcohol in the drink, I got probably 2 oz of lemonade for $8.00. There was no offer to replace the drink. The table location couldn't be worst, the waitresses kept bumping on my chair while dinning, there was plenty of space because other patrons went through with no problem, and my impression is that they were retaliating because I claimed about the Margarita. To order food same problem, I was calling the waitress and she came several times but will not take the order until told them, that we were leaving, at this point we were really upset, my plate that I always order in the other location at Ybor city, was not even half of the regular amount.
DO NOT GO, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. This people completely ruined our celebration, pissed us off and lost a customer.

Go hungry and ready for a fun time. Friday and Saturday evening especially. Wonderful Greek "banjo" played incredibly well. Belly dancing beginning at 8:00PM (weekends). Thrown napkins, breaking plates, a very friendly and efficient wait staff AND THE MENU AND FOOD! Have never left without a take-home box. Delicious stuff - you won't be disappointed.
