If I could score Rusty Pelican a 3.5 I would. The location - excellent - on the water with a great view. The ambience - excellent - two fireplaces, a grand piano, white tablecloths. The service - very good - the waiter was attentive yet not obtrusive - we waited a little longer than expected for the bill. The food was very good, served hot, beautifully presented with orchids on the plates. The food flavor was good - out of the three entrees served, one was a bit oversalted. The other dishes lacked something in flavor to be excellent - but were very good. Only 2 menu entrees were priced $18.95 all other entrees were $22.95 or higher. For our three entrees, one appetizer, one glass of wine, two desserts the cost was $100 without tip - a bit high I think. We had Grouper with artichoke and asparagus, fettucini alfredo with lobster, scallops, and shrimp, and a mixed grill dish: crab cake, salmon, and skewer of shrimp & scallops.
